Captain Max Williams

Raised around the outdoors, Captain Max developed a love for hunting and fishing from an early age. After moving down to the Emerald Coast for work and realizing the natural resources this area has to offer, the idea for a guide company was conceived. In 2024, Captain Max officially started Redwater Guide Company, turning a passion into a career.

Fleet

Sportsman 282TE

Our offshore boat, the Sportsman 282TE is equipped to handle 6 anglers comfortably in various conditions. Twin 300 Yamahas allow us to get to the fishing spots quickly, giving us more time to fish and less time riding. It is also equipped with a private head inside the center console to allow privacy for when nature calls.

Hewes Light Tackle 20

Our inshore boat, the Light Tackle 20 is equipped to handle 2 anglers and gear while still floating in skinny water. The single Mercury 150 gets us across the open water quickly while the bow shape of the boat cuts through chop smoothly and easily. The poling platform allows our captain to get you to the fish quietly and within casting range.

LOCATION

All of our trips are run out of JDF Marina, Panama City Beach, FL. We are right off of Highway 98/Back Beach Road, on the West side of the Hathaway Bridge. At the time of your trip, our captains will be ready for you in the boats in the slips directly across from the bathrooms. Please contact us if you have any issues finding the marina or boats.
